In my relationship with GOD, He has done great things for me; moving on my behalf to work everything out for my good. Sometimes though, I lose sight of that and forget those great things he did in the past. We can get caught up in our assumptions of how we think GOD should do something, but when the moment comes for us to witness His Faithfulness "His Way", it is more than we could ever fathom. We can't forget the moments He has comforted us nor the times He has turned a situation around for our benefit. These moments were established by His hand so that we will hold on to them as signs of His presence in our lives, His goodness to us as our Faithful Father, and His overall Love! When you remember how He worked something out for you; moving upon the petitions of your prayers, then you will dig your heels in and continue to press in to His presence. You won't doubt GOD'S ability to do the impossible. If He did it before then surely He can do it again! His Word is full of promises on how He does exceedingly and abundantly above and beyond what we can even comprehend; for what no eye has seen and what no ear has heard and what no human mind can understand, these are things He has prepared for those who love Him (Paraphrased: Ephesians 3:20, 1 Corinthians 2:9-10).
I challenge you to take some time to make a list of all the good things GOD has done in your life. This isn't just any list. The list should consist of those events where you know that it was nothing but the hand of GOD orchestrating things on your behalf. An example would be of someone giving you the exact amount of money you needed to pay a bill and they knew nothing about the situation except that GOD had laid it on their heart to bless you! This will stir up your Faith and help you to keep your eyes on JESUS. He will never fail you nor let you down. When you are in alignment with Him (John 15) then you have everything you need already because He is the personification of all you need; it's all in Him! All He asks us to do is to #believe that He can do it and provide it. Trust Him!
Matthew 16:8-10, KJV
8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
