The Benefits

One of my favorite verses of Bible scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6. "Trust in The LORD with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight." Sometimes, GOD will require us to do things that seem strange on the surface, but looking back in retrospect we discover that that very thing He asked of us is what protected us all along! It can be bitter-sweet when we must humble ourselves before The LORD in obeying His instruction. We want to have instant gratification, yet we know in our spirit that His command is for our well being in the long run.

GOD has ordered my steps to do somethings that others have frowned upon. Yet, I have peace about it all because I can see that it has kept me from experiencing things (that others have gone through when they took matters in to their own hands without seeking the counsel of GOD). It has felt like, at times, that I'm missing out, but GOD is really setting me up for a successful life in Him; giving Him honor and glory. He desires to do the same for you if you will humble yourself before Him and lean not on your own understanding. Nothing is impossible for GOD and He can orchestrate things out of thin air. GOD doesn't want His children to slave and hustle, but instead He wants us to trust in Him and partner with Him through Faith and obedience.

The sweet rewards and benefits of waiting on GOD and His timing is that we get to witness Him, The GOD of the universe and Creator of all things, move on our behalf; working out the details for our good. We get to experience His Presence in our lives in such an awesome way that we never have before. GOD'S peace and His blessing comes upon our lives. GOD covers us and protects us from difficult situations such as heartache from a relationship that He didn't orchestrate. Lastly, we become a Faithful witness to others of His ability. We know first-hand that GOD can do anything and that He answers the prayers of the righteous. In order to reap the benefits, we must endure the process; the timing it takes to wait for the end results of our Faith. The saying is true, we must: "Let go and let GOD!". You have to release all cares and concerns in to His hands. Meet with The LORD through reading His Word. Pray without ceasing daily and praise Him in advance (by Faith for moving on your behalf). Also, praise GOD simply because He is GOD alone.

This will set you up to reap the benefits of His goodness in your life and others will see by your example that GOD is real.
